Magic Missile is a first-person puzzle game in which players solve both physics and scripted puzzle events with a ball of magic fired from their hand. It is made in Unity 3D, however the project is currently on hiatus.
Players assume the role of a nameless mage who has been locked away in a magical tower. The player's only tool is a ball of magic that can be summoned and thrown from his hand. The ball emits light and explodes with force on impact, and will activate or trigger several different magical constructs within the tower. The game is comprised of stacked levels, or floors, in which the player must ascend. To accomplish this players must solve puzzles and explore the environment, which is mysterious and sometimes foreboding. There are a planned four levels, and four sets of unique game mechanics, detailed further in this document.
